Strategic Aim


The Neuroscience and Society Working Group, one of the teams working to develop distinctive areas of excellence in research at Wake Forest, hosted an interdisciplinary panel on machine learning this week.

Panel topics ranged from the co-composing of music with artificial intelligence to a theological ethical perspective on our relationship to machines and software.

Panelists included:

  • Woodrow Hood, PhD, Professor, Director of the Interdisciplinary Film and Media Program, and Director of the Critical and Creative Media Program
  • Anthony Sali, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychology
  • Zaneta Robinson, JD, Associate Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Intellectual Property Law Clinic
  • Keith Robinson, JD, Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Research and Academic Programs
  • Tobias Flattery, PhD, Assistant Professor of Philosophy
  • Kevin Jung, PhD, Professor of Theological Ethics and Moral Philosophy
