Strategic Aim
Vice Provost Kim McAllister has worked with teams of faculty and staff to develop The Visioning Process for Academic Areas of Distinction under the Strategic Framework.
The first of these processes, as announced in September 2024 when the Neuroscience & Society Working Group Report was issued, is an innovative and cross-campus effort to center the intersections of science, the humanities, and public life.
Work is also underway on the Environment & Sustainability Visioning process.
In addition to fleshing out the plans for these important areas in which Wake Forest can claim leadership, the visioning process itself will provide structure for focused development in other areas of academic distinction.
